Its advantages are high efficiency of cutting, long lifespan and smoothness of slab. The maximum length of stone blocks to be cut must be at least less one meter than length of gang saw. It is better to maintain stone blocks as regular as possible in shape. Irregular stone blocks will induce uneven tensioning to each blade. Besides, it causes bigger vibration to the machine and deformity to the blades, also reduces the efficiency. Further more, it will result in unusual or unbalanced wear of the diamond segments.
